Editorial policy
The commitments that keep our recommendations independent and accurate.

Independence
Our recommendations are editorial decisions. No company can pay to be included in a guide, ranked higher, described more favourably or removed. We don't accept free subscriptions, gifts or payments in exchange for coverage, and we don't let companies review a guide before it is published.
Advertising
TodaysPedia is funded by display advertising from Google AdSense. Ads are chosen by the ad network, not by our editors, and an ad for a service doesn't mean we recommend it. Every ad is labelled “Advertisement” and placed apart from editorial content. Advertisers have no access to our editors and no influence on what we publish.
No affiliate links or sponsored content
Links to the services we write about are ordinary links. We don't earn a commission when you sign up for or buy anything through them, and we don't publish sponsored articles, guest posts or paid links. If this ever changes, affected links will be clearly disclosed on the page where they appear.
Conflicts of interest
Anyone who writes or edits a guide must declare any financial or personal connection to a service it covers, such as working for the company or a direct competitor. Where a connection exists, that person does not work on the guide.
Accuracy and sourcing
Every factual claim about a service is based on its own documentation, pricing pages or published policies, or on reputable reporting. Figures such as traffic and authority scores are third-party estimates and are labelled as such, with the date they were checked. Opinions, such as which option suits a particular reader best, are presented as our judgement and explained.
Editorial responsibility
Guides are published under the name of the TodaysPedia Editorial Team. Every guide is fact-checked and edited before it goes live, and our editors are responsible for everything we publish.
Fair treatment
We describe every service by what it does for its users, including its weaknesses, and we say who it suits even when we don't rank it first. We don't publish guides designed only to criticise a company, and we don't copy descriptions from one guide to another.
Corrections
When we find or are told about an error, we check it against the source and correct it promptly, updating the guide's date. Significant corrections, such as a wrong pricing model or privacy claim, are noted at the end of the guide. To report a problem, use our contact page.
Trademarks and logos
Product and company names mentioned on TodaysPedia are trademarks of their respective owners. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any of the services we write about. Services are shown with simple lettered tiles rather than their logos.
